What is Mebendazole?

Mebendazole (MBZ) was initially produced in 1968 by Janssen Pharmaceutical. By the year 1972, Mebendazole was used throughout the world. Mebendazole is also known as Antiox, Ovex, Pripsen and Vermox. It’s a drug taken orally and used to treat animals afflicted with parasitic worms.

Mebendazole is very effective against nematode infestations, including roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, threadworm (pinworm), and the intestinal form of trichinosis

Mebendazole blocks insect larvae (worms) from growing or multiplying.

Teva Pharmaceuticals out of Parsippany, New Jersey, United States, with its world headquarters out of Israel, STOPPED producing mebendazole on 07 October 2011. As of December 2011, mebendazole is no longer available within United States borders.

Teva Pharmaceuticals gave no reason why they stopped manufacturing mebendazole. In my humble opinion, with mebendazole being a very promising cancer fighter, I figure ‘somebody’ gave them an offer – as in $$$$$$$ – they couldn’t refuse.

How much does Mebendazole cost?

According to Wikipedia, in the United States, mebendazole cost approximately $440 per dose (year 2015), resold by Veterinarians ?????. In Australia, it cost $9 USD and it cost $19 USD in the United Kingdom. Plus, the shipping cost. At those prices, the shipping may cost more than the mebendazole.
