Did you know that there are approximately 554,000 homeless Americans in the US right now? Well here’s one savvy / smart American that I worked with several years ago and I didn’t know he was homeless – he was DELIBERATELY HOMELESS!

Making BANK Because He’s DELIBERATELY HOMELESS!

Now get this. I worked with one PSO (Protective Security Officer – contract security for Homeland Security) for a few years. This guy always looked sharp in his uniform. His uniform (pants and shirt) were always pressed with clean crisp creases and he always looked very professional and did his job on any Post like he’s been doing it for decades. He had a military bearing to him and I assumed he was ex-military but he wasn’t.
But one thing I didn’t know – nobody knew it – this PSO was serious about making and SAVING MONEY. I mean SERIOUS SERIOUS SERIOUS. Nobody knew these facts about this savvy / smart PSO.
One night on a midnight shift (November 2013), he told me HE LIVED FULL TIME OUT OF HIS CAR! No fooling. HE LIVED FULL TIME OUT OF HIS CAR! You’ve heard of homeless people but this guy was DELIBERATELY HOMELESS! Talk about living off the grid.
When he went to shower & shave and such, he went to nearby Rest Stops and Truck Stops. He had the local Cleaners clean & press all his uniforms and I’m sure he shined his own shoes. And he did his regular laundry at the laundromat. He slept at the Rest Stop on the nearby interstate.
This way, this very smart money-saving PSO has no:
- No Mortgage Payment Bills
- No Home Insurance Bills
- No Home Maintenance Bills
- No Tax Bills
- No Yard Maintenance
- No Rent Payment Bills
- No Security Deposit
- No Utility Bills
- No Water Bills
- No Sewer Bills
- No Trash Pick-Up Bills
- No Cable Bills
I’m sure the only bill he had was a P.O. Box for mail.
I myself was clearing $3,000.00 a month after taxes on a 32-hour week. But this PSO was doing at least 40-hours a week, AND HAD NO MAJOR BILLS!!! Like I said, he was DELIBERATELY HOMELESS, living out of his car. Amazing uh! That PSO had a lot of heart and a FINANCIAL PLAN that would make him VERY RICH REAL QUICK!!!! Again, you’ve heard of homeless people but this guy was DELIBERATELY HOMELESS! He planned it that way!
He started on the contract in early 2011. I bet that PSO has some ‘BANK’ saved away by now – easy!!! How many people can say that?
You don’t have to go DELIBERATELY HOMELESS as this PSO did to MAKE and SAVE LOTS OF MONEY, but I hope you got the idea of what is possible.
