First of all, let me tell you I use coupons on occasion when they’re already sticking the product I was already going to buy anyway and you can’t help but use them. Let me tell you a true story when I was shopping at Scott Air Force Base Commissary.

1ST TRUE COUPON STORY: Back in 2013 when I was doing contract security work for Homeland Security, I’d get off my shift at 0600 hours in the morning. About once a month I’d head directly to Scott Air Force Base (SAFB) Commissary (Illinois) from my job site. I don’t know about now, but back then, they’d open the Commissary doors at 0700 hours (7am) for early shoppers.
I’d go in there and wander the aisles looking for my groceries. Sometimes I’d find those coupons on the product itself or next to it to get a small discount. Why not?
Well I’d get to the check out, I’d be in my Protective Security Officer (PSO) uniform (without gear and weapon of course) and the same lady would recognize me and call me over by my name (she reads my name tag).
Well I’m getting all my items ringed-up and the conversation turns to using grocery coupons. She tells me this UNBELIEVABLE INCREDIBLE STORY of this lady that comes shopping at the SAFB Commissary.
She tells me this lady comes to the checkout with 02 or 03 carts full of grocery items! She gets all her grocery items checked-out and gets the bill. NOW GET THIS! That lady ends of leaving the Scott AFB Commissary with not only not paying a single cent for all them 02 or 03 carts of grocery items but she leaves with the SAFB Commissary OWING HER MONEY! Scott AFB Commissary owed her money!!!!
The first time I heard this story, I said “WHAT?” real loud. The lady at the check out told me the lady was using grocery coupons. But she was using a technique that most people are unaware of. She gathers coupons from different newspapers. She also used SAFB Commissary coupons. She ends up buying multiple products of specific items using double and triple coupons which ends up having the items costing not only ZERO but the SAFB Commissary ends up OWING HER MONEY on each grocery item!
At the same time, she’s still buying other specific grocery items using the double and triple coupons that bring the price of grocery items to ZERO or NEARLY FREE.
Months later, I went shopping at the SAFB Commissary and talked to the same SAFB Commissary employee about the same lady. She told me the same exact story so I know she was telling me the truth.
UPDATE: Here’s an update to this story years later. On 31 August 2018 (still have the receipt), I was shopping at the SAFB Commissary and ran into the same cashier who told me the story I just told you. While she was scanning all my grocery items, I brought up the story she told me years ago and she remembered it. She told me that lady no longer shops at SAFB Commissary. She told me SAFB Commissary no longer allows double or triple couponing.
But WAIT! You can still SAVE MONEY on your grocery bills using grocery coupons. I see ladies (never men), I see ladies shopping at the SAFB Commissary. And you know what I see them studying and searching through in their cart next to the handle. They have a metal box with a rolodex of bunches of coupons in it. They have their system of using coupons to SAVE MONEY. They may not leave the SAFB Commissary with no bill, but I bet they have a good CHUNKY DISCOUNT on their grocery bill and YOU can too!

2nd TRUE COUPON STORY: I was listening to an audio of this guy going into stores like the Dollar Stores. He collects coupons on specific products like granola bars. He purchases boxes of granola bars using his coupons. He gets a good discount on all those boxes of granola bars. Now here’s how he makes money on all those boxes of granola bars.
He sells all those boxes of granola bars together – in one shot. He sells them on Amazon. He sells them so he’s making $30 – $50 profit.
Now who on Earth would buy all them boxes of granola bars for the asking price when they can get them cheaper if they bought em’ themselves?
There are folks out there that HAVE NO ACCESS to any local grocery stores. Some folks live in the middle of nowhere (Montana, Wyoming, Alaska,…) and don’t want to travel 100-miles or more to a WalMart, Dollar Store,… to get some granola bars. They’d rather PAY YOU for them tasty granola bars!! And granola bars are just the tip of the iceberg. There are plenty of products you can purchase at a discount and sell to folks that want them for your asking price.
