1st Super Bait:  Of all the ‘How To Catch Up To 100 Fish No BS‘ in this blog post, here is a ‘Super Bait.’  In my book at the end of this blog post, I’ve included 03 other ‘Super Baits.’

Chinese fishermen and hunters have used this proven bait for centuries. It’s called Rhodium Oil. Rhodium Oil is extracted from the true lignam rhodium. 80-pounds of wood will yield 09 drachms (ancient Grecian unit of weight) and a resinous old woods will yield 02-ounces of rhodium.

Rhodium oil is a light yellowish color but may be the color of red when stored. Another source of rhodium oil is from the root of the rose-wort, rhodiola rosea and the oil is also yellowish in color. 01-pound will yield 01 drachm.

Rhodium oil is a super-compelling bait for fish (freshwater & saltwater), rats, and all sorts of small game like beaver, muskrat, raccoon,… – it compels the small game to come to the baited trap. To use Rhodium Oil, place a couple drops of Rhodium Oil on your fish bait and they’ll be compelled to get hooked. You can also use Rhodium Oil on traps & snares for other small and medium game.

But you don’t have to get Rhodium Oil the hard way, you can get it from a Murry’s Lure’s and it’s real cheap – only $3.50 for 01-ounce. Remember, just a couple drops or so will do to compel that critter to come to you Anytime Anywhere! See Murry’s Lure’s and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice on the Internet.

Acerrano Fishing Trick:  When you have no fishing line, no hook and no bait, here’s a technique for fishing using only your hands. Wade into a clear stream with little or no current, flushing any fish upstream. Turning around facing downstream, squat and form a cup with your hands and place them under water. Your body will form a shadow which provides a better view into the water.

Squatting and going motionless, wait for a fish to swim into your cupped hands. Once the fish has floated into your cupped hands, secure it, kill it and place it on the bank and repeat the process.

Warning:  Long submersion time in cold water temperatures could cause injury to the hands, fingers, feet, legs,…

Double Warning:  I know this sounds obvious, but any Acerrano Fishing Trick application is NOT RECOMMENDED in waters where piranha, pythons, anacondas, boa constrictors, crocodillians (crocodiles, alligators, caimans, and gharials),… and the like, habitate!!!! And again, it’s not recommended to use in frigid waters (flowing or not – maybe with the exception of sloughs – sloughs are noted to be warmer).

Last Warning:  Like I’ve said several times before, unless you really know what you’re doing (excellent swimmer, fisherman,…) around any water obstacle (river, lake pond, ocean, swamp, marsh,…) STAY AWAY from all water obstacles cause you’re a threat to yourself and those around you.

Black Walnut Fish Stunner:  The Black Walnut, a hardwood tree is found in central and eastern parts of the United States – North America. The tree can grow as high as 120-feet tall. The nuts and even shell are harvested and used for food stuffs and the shells are grounded down for many products. The black walnuts are made-up of:

  • Hull:  Soft outer green and / or black covering.
  • Shell:  Hard part that protects the nut.
  • Nut:  Heart of the black walnut.

a) Acquire black walnuts from a walnut tree (Juglans), which primarily grow in eastern North America. The black walnuts eventually fall from the tree.  Their hulls are the most outer part of the black walnut. Crush the hulls to expose the ‘fish stunning ingredients.’

b) Look for and locate a calm site in a pond, lake or stream where you see fish and you can block it off using deadfall.

c) Once you’ve located your site, gently attempt to block it off without disturbing the water and scaring-away the fish. Try to block-off the smallest section of water you can.

d) Depending on the technique, the hull, shell and or the walnut seed / nut can be used to stun the fish. Break up parts of the black walnut and place them in the water.

e) The chemical released by the black walnuts will “stun” and incapacitate the fish.

WARNING:  Be aware for floating debris, swift currents, cold water temperatures (hypothermia) and wildlife in the area that may pose a threat to your life.

MOST IMPORTANT NOTE:  I have yet to use black walnuts to stun fish. But as far as which part to use to stun fish – I’d use the outermost hull of the black walnut. This emergency fishing application may be ILLEGAL in your state. However, as I’ve said before – when you’re in a survival situation and your life is on the line – all them rules, laws,… are out the window.

Amish Fish Bait:  Carefully take your hook & bait and rub anise oil on it. The anise oil will help attract fish to your baited hook. Here’s a quote from the 2005 AASN (Newsletter):

“Anise is an aromatic herb originating from the Middle East and Mediterranean region. The Romans used anise seeds as money. They also used anise as flavoring and as a digestive aid. The Chinese ate the herb to relieve flactuence and ease bowel movements. The pharaohs used anise to remedy bladder ailments, stomach ailments, and toothaches.  The Herb Almanac states that anise oil and rhodium oil added to bait compels animals into traps. In the 16th Century, anise was used as mouse bait in mousetraps cause mice found anise irresistible.”  See 1st Super Bait!

Concussion Fishing Trick:  Of all the ‘How To Catch Up To 100 Fish No BS‘ in this blog post, this one is the most dangerous but extremely effective.

You gotta stay with me on this one – Concussion Fishing Trick, cause I’m setting you up for the Herter Fishing Trick, Nowlin’s Fish Stunner and the Bigfoot Fishing Trick.

We (US Army Special Forces – Green Berets) called ‘concussion fishing’ – fishing with Dupont Lures. Dupont Lures were actually M67 fragmentation hand grenades and ‘illegally’ used for fishing. Both safeties were pulled, the grenade tossed into the water and the depth charge explosion created a devastating concussion which stunned all fish within close proximity to the underwater explosion. The stunned fish surfaced where they were easily secured.

In the Congo a similar technique was employed using dynamite. Double sticks of dynamite exploded underwater in Lake Tanganyika. After 04 or 05 double-charged sticks of dynamite, a bounty of 2,200 pounds of herring-like fish (Stolothrissa tanganicae) were collected. Fishing using Dupont Lures or dynamite are absolutely illegal.

However, if you have access to these items during a true life or death survival situation – you be the judge. Concussion Fishing really works. Don’t believe me? Keep reading.

Herter Fishing Trick:  Have no fishing tackle to catch them tasty fish? But you do have a rifle. Then here’s a fishing trick using your rifle and you won’t blow the fish to smithereens.

When you see a fish, take careful aim. Consider a ricochet downrange. Be responsible for where that bullet is going. Aim very near the fish but DO NOT hit it. Aim and shoot. The bullet striking the water will cause a concussion which will temporarily stun or kill the fish. Once stunned or killed, the tasty fish will float to the surface for easy retrieval.

Nowlin’s Fish Stunner:  Nowlin (William Nowlin, an avid wilderness adventurer. William Nowlin, author of “The Bark Covered House, Or Back In The Woods Again”, captured his life in the Michigan Territory during the early to mid 1800s.) used a unique technique to stun fish so they floated to the surface for an easy catch. Nowlin placed his musket barrel just below the water’s surface if the fish were swimming near the surface. If they were swimming 06-inches below the surface, the barrel was place 06-inches below the surface. Pulling the trigger, the underwater blast – concussion, stunned the fish having them float to the surface.

Warning:  Unlike musket rifles of 150-years ago, modern weapons like the .45 calibre pistol have a very dangerous chamber pressure of around 45,000-pounds per square inch. That much chamber pressure should NEVER be tampered with beyond its intended design. Modern weapons are not designed to fire while submerged underwater.

I wouldn’t recommend using this technique unless you had an “open system” weapon like a .38 pistol revolver or you have a musket weapon.

1st Note:  Long ago (1976) at one of West Point Academy’s training camps – Camp Natural Bridge, to stun fish, I’ve used blasting caps. But the blasting cap has to detonate in close proximity to the fish in order to stun it.

Bigfoot Fishing Trick:  Of all the ‘How To Catch Up To 100 Fish No BS‘, this next fishing trick is very interesting whether you believe them bigfoot critters exist or not.  Here’s another ‘Concussion Fishing Trick’ that is worthy of your attention.

I was listening to some videos on YouTube. One video perked-up my ears. It was about a group of 04 Bigfoot critters fishing. I have never seen one of them critters nor do I want to, but I do believe they exist and are some very smart critters. Here’s the info of the video:

In case this video is deleted, here’s the transcript which you’ll realize is a fishing trick that really works and you may be able to replicate this Bigfoot Fishing Trick.

“The witness does not reveal the specific date for the encounter, however if it’s true, it does suggest that some of the bigfoot researchers who proclaim the creatures as benign, may not be entirely accurate.

The witness a native American man who was only a boy at the time, recalled that he set off for a fishing trip with his grandfather – a three day hike into the forest.

The river they went to forked to the west and towards the south. They always went to the west fork for some reason. On the day, the witness woke early. His grandfather was still sleeping, so he decided to head on down to the south fork for a morning hike. As he reached the area, he began to hear talking and loud splashing. The area was extremely remote. Nobody ventured out there and for this reason it peaked the interest of the witness.

He decided to go in and investigate. His hike to the South Fork would suddenly take a very strange turn. The voices got louder and weirder. I thought poachers were there and they’ll shoot anyone who catches them. So I hid in the trees and crept-up.

I saw three big hairy men fishing. According to the witness there were four of them in total. Three large males and what looked like to him, a leaner, smaller female standing on the shore. He claims that one was in the water up to his waist hitting the water with his hands cupped together, causing a big blast of water to shoot up. When he did that, fish would fly-up and the other two males who were also in the water but closer to the shore, would grab them. They were fast and accurate he recalled.

From there the two would throw the fish up on the bank where the female picked them up and stuffed them into what looked like a huge tumble weed or round wad of woven twigs.

The witness was completely stunned. I couldn’t believe my eyes he wrote of thee encounter. At some point the creatures seized their activity. Almost in unison, they looked over in the direction of the witness. And then scrambled off into the forest.

Despite their size, the witness was impressed by how graceful their walking was, almost cat-like soft and swift. When he returned to his camp his grandfather was awake and was calling for him. I ran up to him and he looked at me. He said ‘you saw them didn’t you?’ I nodded, he said ‘That’s why we can’t go down to the South Fork.’ He told me I was lucky to be alive. To never go down there again. That is there place and we don’t intrude.”

WAIT, I’m not done yet.  Here’s another Bigfoot story from my book “199+ Emergency Traps & Snares And Other Hunting Tricks To Capture Any Game!” See www.survivalexpertbooks.com

I already talked about Aztec Duck Stick and them Bigfoot critters use the same technique. OK, here we go.

Bigfoot Duck Hunting:  Before I tell you about the unknown “Panamanian Fishing Trick \ Secret” to catch a 100 tasty bass fish – here’s a BONUS and another Bigfoot hunting trick.

I have to tell you this true story. In the documentary – “Alien Creatures From Beyond: Monsters, Ghosts And Vampires.” At approximately 00:06:17 in the documentary, 02 female witnesses came in contact with a Bigfoot creature. They observed that in one hand the creature had his ducks and in the other hand the creature was carrying a stick.

The investigators couldn’t figure out how the stick the bigfoot was carrying related to the ducks. In my humble opinion, that smart bigfoot creature used his stick to bring down the ducks as they took off from their feeding, socializing, resting,.

Duck Stick / Rabbit Stick

You just read some neat fishing tricks that will put a tasty dinner on the table.  Now here’s ‘How To Catch Up To 100 Fish No BS.‘  Here’s the whole true story.  I named it the Panamanian Fishing Trick.

Panamanian Fishing Trick \ Secret:  You already read the other fishing tricks to catch some tasty fish.  Now here’s a fishing trick to catch 100 fish in a few hours as told to me by 02 soldiers in Panama.  Here’s that TRUE STORY – How-to Get Those Fish To Fight Each Other To Get Hooked On Your Fishing Line!  No Joke – No Fish Story Here.

During 1986-91 while serving at a location called Ft. Davis, Panama, I heard many stories about soldiers catching anywhere from 50 to over a hundred fish! By the way Gatun lake is H U G E!! Without it there would be no Panama Canal.

Well in late 1990, I heard about two soldiers who caught more than 100 bass fish in one afternoon while fishing in Gatun Lake. Due to my job, I very rarely had time to go fishing, but I wanted to look into this “fishy” story. Initially I thought the story was outright B.S.!!!

I heard the same story from a couple of other avid fisherman so I thought I’d track down those two soldiers that caught all those fish in a few hours and ask them what they did.

A few days later, I caught up to these soldiers and they both said the same thing. They caught over 100 fish for a Battalion (couple hundred soldiers) fish-fry. They caught all those fish in Gatun Lake. They both laughed excitedly at how SWARMS OF FISH would attack their fishing hooks while trolling in Gatun Lake!

They were literally throwing their fishing line in the water, fish would attack it and they’d real em’ in one right after the other! NO TIME FOR RELAXATION, NO TIME FOR EVEN A COLD BREWSKI in that very hot and humid environment! They were too busy reeling in those fish that begged to be caught!

What were they doing to catch all those fat bass fish? That’s exactly what I asked them even though I already knew what others had told me. Are you ready to hear what they did? You sure? Make sure you have this little item in your survival kit or tackle box!

They told all they did was put a “regular white straw with RED stripes” over the hook and they would simply troll along in the waters! That’s right, they were using a “regular white straw with RED stripes!”

They said they simply threw their lines out while trolling and the fish just fought to get on their hooks! I asked them Why? Is it the movement, does it make sound in the water, why? They didn’t know exactly why, they said movement might have something to do with it.

Panamanian Fishing Trick!

So you know what I did? I eventually got a boat and tried it myself. Yes, I did catch some fish using a white striped straw. I even tried it off the shore, just casting out my line (with a bobber) and slowly reeling it in, and I did catch some fish that way too! My conclusion to why it works the way it does is because of the unique movement the straw makes in the water!

So make sure you put some pieces (01 1/2-inch) of “white striped straws” in your Survival Kit or tackle box. Oh, make sure the hook is exposed to hook em when they bite! OK, did you like that TRUE STORY!!! Now that you’ve caught those “brain food” guys lets prepare em!

Panamanian Fishing Trick – Solved:  Panamanian Secret Solved To Catch 50 Fish Real Quick!  It’s really 100+ fish!  Remember, I told how to get 100+ fish in a short period of time using a lure that won’t cost you a dime! It’s a straw. I told you I wasn’t sure why it worked so good.

Well now I think I know why – well I’m sure I do. Last night (17 January 2001), I was doing my “reading myself to sleep” (research), when I came across an article that may solve the mystery why it works so good! I was reading an old article by Jerome B. Robinson in a Field & Stream Magazine (November 1999) and he states that the colors red & white “often triggers the attack mechanism of even the pickiest fish.”

I told you it was a “striped straw”, I didn’t give you exact colors (most fastfood restaurants carry red & white straws anyway). Well now we both know – USE RED & WHITE striped straws!

The best thing is it really works and those straws are FREE! Next time you go to a fast food restaurant to get that salad – pick up a few red & white straws!
