I want to tell you about a scam most people don’t know about. I actually witnessed the following scam and tax payers are picking up the tab. Here it goes.

I (author) was working security at a hospital. We had armed and unarmed security guards at this hospital. I was unarmed but still had responsibilities of armed security.

At this hospital, there was a Psyche Ward on the 6th floor. The Psyche Ward held people that required professional mental healthcare of all sorts.

But there were some patients that were abusing the system. And this is how they did it. These homeless people would cause trouble somewhere in the city limits and the local police were called.

This homeless person would tell the police that they wanted to end it all, they wanted to commit suicide. That word ‘SUICIDE’ was their ticket to a week or so at Club Med and included the amenities of:

  • private room
  • 03 squares a day
  • warm bed
  • showers
  • clean clothing (hospital pajamas)
  • mental hygiene classes
  • watching television for several hours a day & night
  • desserts (the staff often gave patients ice cream, sodas, cookies,…)

After a week or so of mental hygiene classes, the patient would be released from Club Med and allowed to go free out in the public. This same person would hitchhike to the next nearest city hospital and do the same thing claiming suicidal thoughts and guess what – BAAAAMMMM!

That homeless person has another comfortable 07-day stay at another Club Med – the next hospital on their list and the tax payers are picking up the tab.

I asked about this and was told the network of hospitals DO NOT KEEP TABS on all their mental health patients because since they committed no crimes, there are no records kept of this wandering homeless people.

I guess it’s against the law to track the mental care patients, therefore these homeless people can literally travel across the great US of A and live full time in one hospital after another. Not a bad scam uh! All paid for by your taxes.

How many major hospitals are there in the mighty US of A that have Psyche Wards? I Googled this question and came up with approximately a total of 5,724 hospitals in the United States to include 692 hospitals with Psyche Wards. Based on a full week stay at each hospital, it would take the scammer just over 13-years to make a full circuit of all the major Club Med hospitals throughout the US of A.

WAIT WAIT WAIT, I’m not done yet. What if YOU were really down on your luck? You’re homeless and your broke – you can’t rub 02 nickels together? Know where I’m going with this?

YEP, now you can ‘use the system’ to stay off the crime-laden streets and give yourself a chance to get your act together while staying at various Club Meds in your area of the great United States of America.

NO, I’m not telling you to deliberately scam the system. But using this Club Med Scam is much more safer than surviving on the streets, especially for women.
